Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire online strategy guide-Rustboro City through Granite Cave

Rustboro City:Pokemon seen-Makuhita-Trade for Slakoth Lileep, Anorith-Fossils
1) Stop at the house to the left of the Pokemon Center and ask the man inside for Hm01(Cut). The only way to use this outside of battle is to beat Roxanne at the Gym.
2) Head the left of the Pokemon Center and go in the first building you see. Talk to the man behind the desk in the back. He will give you the Quick Claw. When holding this in battle, the Pokemon may speed up and get the first attack. This may come in useful against Roxanne!
3) To fight Roxanne, you need either a Water- or Grass-type Pokemon, since her Pokemon type is the Rock-type. If you chose Torchic as your Starter, you may want to grow it or a Lotad and/or Seedot to Level 16. You may either choose the winding path out of the way of Trainers or go down the middle of the Gym and face 2 of her juniors. She has a Level 14 Geodude(Rock- and Ground-types) and a Level 15 Nosepass(Rock-type).
4) After defeating the Gym, you will hear a yell and see the Team Magma/Aqua Grunt and the Researcher from Petalburg Woods run past. Head to the northwest exit of Rustboro and out to Route 116!

Route 116:Pokemon seen:Nincada, Whismur, Zigzagoon-Common Skitty, Taillow-Rare
1) Before entering Rusturf Tunnel, talk to the old man outside. He is the one, the only, Mr. Briney! His pet Wingull, Peeko, was also taken by the Magma/Aqua Grunt. Head into Rusturf Tunnel to rescue Peeko and recover the Goods!
Rusturf Tunnel:Pokemon seen-Whismur-Very Common
1) After entering Rusturf Tunnel, ignore the item on the ledge and head right to encounter the Magma/Aqua Grunt. After beating him , he returns the goods and runs off.
Rustboro City:1) Hand over the Devon Goods to the Researcher and he takes you to The Devon Corporation. The President asks you to take a Letter to Steven in Dewford Town and the Devon Goods to Captain Stern in Slateport City. He then gives you a PokeNav,AKA the Pokemon Navigator. Head back to Mr. Briney's house on Route 104.
Route 104:1) If you return to Mr. Briney's house, you will find him finally at home. He asks you where you want to sail, so tell him Dewford Town and off you go!
Route 105-Dewford Town:Pokemon seen-105 ONLY:Regice-only after you solve the Sealed Chamber Mystery. Water(all places):Magikarp:Old and Good Rods:Very Common Pelipper-Rare Tentacool-Very Common Old and Good Rods-Common Wailmer:Good Rod-Common Super Rod-Very Common Wingull-Very Common
1) Go into the house by the dock and talk to the man in a coat. He'll give you the Silk Scarf, which, if held by a Normal-Type Pokemon, it bolsters its Normal-Type moves.
2) Head over to the man hanging around the Gym. He gives you the Old Rod, which can catch you Pokemon up by the line.
3) OPTIONAL:Go to the boy outside the Dewford Hall. He'll tell you what's new in cool...or is it cool? If you tell him something different, he'll tell everyone and it'll be the newest hip thing. Try "Mudkip Ball," unless you haven't seen a Mudkip.
4) Head into the Gym. Brawly is the Leader here, and, as his name implies, he specializes in Fighting-Type Pokemon. Bring your best Flying- and/or Psychic-Type to fight him. He has a Level 17 Machop(Fighting-Type) and a Level 18 Makuhita(Fighting-Type). A Combuken or Wingull with the Peck attack would be ideal for this Gym. After beating Brawly, head north to Granite Cave!
Granite Cave:Pokemon seen-Abra, Aron, Zubat-Common Makuhita-Very Common Nosepass(ONLY after you can Rock Smash)-Common Mawile-Common(Ruby only) Sableye-Common(Sapphire only)
1) Talk to the man near the entrance. He willl give you HM05(Flash). Now that you have the Knuckle Badge, you can use it outside of battle. Teach it to a Pokemon right away!
2) Cheat sheet:a)Head to the first ladder. b) Use Flash. c) Head up until you meet some sliding stairs. d) Head right until you can't anymore. e)Head down to the ladder. f) Go to the first set of stairs and go up them. g) Head right to the ladder. h) Head up the other ladder. i) Head to the 2nd "exit" and go into it and you'll find Steven!
3)Hand over the Letter to Steven. Steven should give you the TM47(Steel Wing). Exit the Cave and go back to Mr. Briney. Tell him you want to go to Slateport City and you're off!
